The Story

Antique engagement ring centered upon a turquoise cabochon with an old European-cut diamond surround of .90 carats set in platinum and 14K yellow gold. Signed C & Co. and numbered B2813. Circa 1890/1900.

The turquoise is accented beautifully by its halo of diamonds, making this ring utterly modern but rooted in Victorian sensibility -- and that symmetry!

Diamond and gold mining has caused devastation in areas such as Africa, wreaking havoc on delicate ecosystems and communities. Choosing to go vintage, you are eliminating the need for more mining and lessening the demand for new diamonds.
