Victorian antique carved half hoop ring composed of alternating sapphires and old mine cut diamonds set in 18k yellow gold. The five stone design centers two old mine cut diamonds totaling approximately .50 carats with three deep blue sapphires totaling approximately .70 carats. The stones are set within a low-profile carved half hoop mounting with ornate openwork scroll gallery and hand-finished gold detailing typical of Victorian craftsmanship. The interior of the band is inscribed “1894” and bears British maker’s marks.
