Antique ring centering a round sapphire, approx. 1.21 carats. With GIA stating its unheated Burmese origin. Flanked by a pair of old European-cut diamonds, approx. .54 and .55 carat, set in 18k yellow gold. Center 6.7x16.2mm, band 1.5mm. Circa 1880.
This cornflower blue, seen mostly with Ceylon sapphires, doesn't take itself too seriously. We love its playful and happy hue!
