Vintage ring centering upon an old European-cut diamond, approx. 1.00 carat, with about .46 carat of diamonds, set in silver-topped 18k yellow gold. Front 6.5mm, band 1.7-2.5mm. Circa 1940. *Lab report for center diamond pending.
The inspiration for our Wings and Ruby Wings was from a ring very similar to this and we never thought we'd run into one again!
Diamond and gold mining has caused devastation in areas such as Africa, wreaking havoc on delicate ecosystems and communities. Choosing to go vintage, you are eliminating the need for more mining and lessening the demand for new diamonds.
